With solar irrigation, farms can be isolated from the general electricity grid or avoid the high costs of pumping systems using diesel or fossil fuels.

In addition, solar irrigation allows more precise control of water consumption and, consequently, greater efficiency in its use. The reduction in water and environmental footprint is in line with both the Community’s agricultural policy and the demands of a society that is increasingly aware of the environment.
